We don't want your data.
Most tool sites need to know who you are because they sell that knowledge to advertisers. We don't. So we collect almost nothing — and the small print is short.

What we don't collect
No accounts, ever. There is no signup, no login, no profile. We do not ask for your name, email, age, gender, location, occupation, or anything else.
No cookies are set by ToolBook today. If you check your browser's cookie inspector while using the site, you should see nothing from toolbook.io.
No third-party trackers. We do not run Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Hotjar, or any advertising network in v1. If we add privacy-respecting analytics later (such as Plausible or self-hosted PostHog), we'll update this page and explain exactly what is collected.
What stays in your browser
Some tools save your inputs to your URL bar so you can bookmark or share a calculation. For example, the EMI Calculator stores principal, rate, and tenure as URL parameters. That data is on your device and in any link you choose to share — never sent to us.
A few tools also use your browser's localStorage to remember your recent choices (for example, your last selected unit). You can clear this any time by clearing site data in your browser.
What we log on the server
ToolBook is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel writes minimal access logs: request timestamp, IP address, user agent, and the page requested. These logs are used for security and performance monitoring (for example, blocking abuse), retained for a short period by Vercel, and never used for advertising. Third-party links you click
Two places on the site send you to a third-party service:
- Support us on Ko-fi takes you to
ko-fi.com, which has its own privacy policy. We never see your payment information. - Contact links (request a tool, bug reports, general contact) either open a Google Form or your email client addressed to
hello@toolbook.io. Your data is sent through your own provider; we only see what you choose to send.
Children
ToolBook is a general-audience site with no minimum age. Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to delete on request. Parents and guardians can rest easy.
Updates to this policy
If we ever add analytics, ads, accounts, or any other data collection, we'll update this page first and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. There will be no quiet changes.
